Click here for general information on setting web user privileges.
Any staff member (with a staff web user account) can view, change, insert (create a disciple referral record), or delete a disciple referral record if granted the corresponding privilege.

Student Access Privileges to Access Student Referrals
Note: “Access StudentReferrals - View Allowed” gives teachers the ability to view discipline referrals for their students. If you are not a teacher, you can’t view discipline referrals created by others unless you also have the "Manage Tier 3 Discipline Referrals - View Allowed” privilege.
Office Staff Privileges to Manage Tier 3 Discipline Referrals
“Manage Tier 3 Discipline Referrals - View Allowed” gives you the ability to view all discipline referrals and make parental contact for T3 (major) discipline referrals.
“Manage Tier 3 Discipline Referrals - Change Allowed" gives you the ability to delete non-completed discipline referrals that you are not the author of. Once an action is assigned, or parent contact is recorded, the discipline referral can’t be deleted.
Discipline Referrals Notifications
Only certain staff get an automatic notification when a discipline referral has been created.
• Teachers: For schools using non-period attendance, all homeroom teachers are eligible to receive notifications for Tier 2 and Tier 3 discipline referrals. Homeroom teachers will only be notified if a student in their homeroom class receives a discipline referral.
• Office Admin Staff: Anyone granted the “Manage Tier 3 Discipline Referrals - View Allowed” privilege is eligible to receive notifications for all Tier 3 (major) discipline referrals. Notifications for Tier 2 (minor) discipline referrals are not sent to office admin staff.
Notifications can be sent to a staff email and/or phone (text message or voice call). Once privileges have been granted for discipline referrals, staff can set their notification preferences in their web user account preferences (click the Discipline Referrals link and then click the ‘User Preferences’ link).
